On Thursday, Oct.17, students at Central Boulevard School participated in Thoughtful Thursday, their monthly activity promoting kindness and giving back to the community. Students from Ms. Cronin, Ms. Wessinger, Ms. Vitiello, and Ms. Monoyos's classes spent time creating colorful placemats, each adorned with drawings and personal notes about what they are thankful for.
These placemats, after being laminated, will be sent out with the school's Thanksgiving baskets to families in need and also delivered to local senior centers. The project allowed students to reflect on gratitude while spreading joy to others in the community.
Through this thoughtful activity, Central Boulevard students learned the importance of kindness and making a difference in the lives of others.
