Central Boulevard School participated in a week-long journey of mindfulness and self discovery through yoga workshops led by the experienced instructor, Mrs. Donna Coogan. Throughout the week, both teachers and students were captivated by the power of yoga, exploring of mindfulness poses, and the art of being present in every moment.
The students learned how mindfulness practices can enhance focus, reduce stress , and cultivate a deeper sense of self awareness through two workshops they attended. As the week ended, CBS school celebrated with a Family Yoga Night promoting wellness in the community. CBS looks forward to seeing the implementation of these practices as they greatly enhance learning, by promoting focus, reducing stress and through a positive learning environment for all.
