Central Boulevard students celebrated Thoughtful Thursday on May 18, 2023. Classes read the school’s Book of the Month, “The Good Egg” by Jory John, which shined a light on the important message of accepting yourself and others for who they are. Students then participated in a Thoughtful Thursday activity in connection to the district’s upcoming Relay for Life event.
Each class created paper chains with positive words and drawings on them. The paper chains will soon be pieced together to create one large chain link in honor of Leukemia Awareness. Students will be able to view the completed school-wide project at Relay for Life next month as the chain will be displayed at Central Boulevard’s Relay for Life tent.
