The Bethpage High School Robotics Team, Regal Eagles, participated in the 4th Annual Robo Replay Robotics Competition at John Dewey High School in Brooklyn. The team was selected to be on the 4th seeded-alliance in the playoffs and made it to the quarterfinals. The team also was awarded the prestigious "Excellence in Design Award" for the design and engineering of their robot and its subcomponents.
In addition, the Regal Eagles were the recipient of a competitive FIRST Robotics team grant from BAE Systems, Inc. The $2,000 award will help defray costs associated with participation in the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition season.
