On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, English 10 teachers, Ms. Bertolotti and Mrs. Brosnan hosted barred owl Solomon and Lauren Schulz, Director of Operations & Rehabilitation from Wildlife Center of Long Island.
Solomon and Lauren taught the students about owls and other wildlife on Long Island. Students learned about the symbolism of owls in literature with a focus on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, which the class is currently studying.
